YouTube: Singer Ajay Marshall
Hard work and dedication come as second nature to Ajay Marshall. Although, he doesn't need an introduction, let me do some recap. He is a Soul Trap musician and a businessman based in Cape Town, South Africa. He is the founder of Spanalennareje Concepts and Spanalennareje Records. His music catalog includes hot, raging tracks such as Don't Go and Bang Bang.
Today we interviewed him to find out how far is he in the journey of changing the music landscape and creating his own legacy. As of recent, his attention is mainly on a new major project, Busisiwe and his newly established record label Spanalennareje Records.
The Busisiwe Project
"It's a project about love, inspired by the amazing woman in my life SIPHESIHLE, thought to share with the world the same feeling I got through love"
Aspired impact on people's lives
"With this project I wish people to give more attention to the value of true love or in fact genuine love rather to materialistic love to a point where love doesn't exist if there ain't money involved. And to honor families that are part of the union, you know encouraging men to stand bold and pay the price to their queen's family (lobola)"
What to expect in the future
"My short-term goal is to collaborate with at least the top 5 RSA artists...or even more to expand my space and business world"
The music industry needs people like Ajay Marshall. People who are willing to put in the work and authenticity to achieve their dreams. His star will surely continue rising and shining bright. Wishing nothing but the best for all his future endeavors.

Today we caught up with The Roniics on their hot new track, #15_Shots! The track is a raging bang packed with brutal hooks and sick flowing verses that turn it into a #PARTY_KIT! The duo consists of two South African artists “Kroniic (Kabelo Mokwena) and Ironiic (Xolani Moloisani)”. Don't you just love how they way they spell it with a double 'i'? They describe their music style as “merging Rap, Rnb, Electro, Jazz and Afro into one sound”.
Now let’s get down to our interview!
Why choose ‘15’ for song name
“Because its a dance song made for clubs or places where you can have fun and enjoy with people you adore.”
What they mean by ‘baby’
“Baby refers to anyone you don't feel and feel like they turning down your mood.”
Where '15 shots' were taken
“In Pretoria Mamelodi Four Ways fashion lounge.”
Their 'fashion style'
“We manage to combine 90's fashion and new wave fashion into one sensible movement.”
Once again, ladies and gentlemen! Those are The Roniics! Ain't none ironic about iit, the boys slay! Don't forget to stream and download. Let's support them at all costs!!

Mumubutton is an upbeat and narrative song by Synapse, a Hip-Hop and Afrobeat artist. It explores the themes of love and romance. Today we did an interview with him to get an in-depth understanding of his musical disposition.
The core message of the song
“Well, the core message is LOVE. When you love someone, he/she becomes your strength and weakness.
When you love someone, you're ready to give them your all against all odds…and that's what the song is talking about”
The greatest he has given to love
“The greatest thing I've ever given for love has to be my freedom. When we fell in love, things changed from me to us, for mine to ours (from mine to ours). I was no longer free to do whatever I like except if she likes it too. Lol”
Future plans for his music
“My future plans for my life are to be successful and to be well known for what I do best and that is music. Talking about music, my plan for it, is to perfect my art, go international and most importantly, touch as many lives as possible with my songs because to me, music is a powerful tool powerful enough to change the world. I have been working hard especially this year and I have a couple of good songs yet to be released which hopefully will be released in 2020 and hopefully the songs will get the recognition they deserve. If they do, then we are good to go!”
It is evident that Synapse is a man with a thorough mission. He takes his craft extremely seriously. That will surely amount in nothing but prosperity. Wishing him all the best for all of his future endeavours!

Flex is a song by Kaylu (featuring Brainee), a Hip Hop artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. The song incorporates elements of freedom, self-empowerment and of course, flexing. It has generally received positive reactions from his fans on social media platforms, who were more than eager to join the Flex terrain.
Now let's go deeper into Kaylu, Flex and other crucial aspects!
"I was born and raised in Lagos Nigeria. I lived with both my parents and two of my brothers. I am the second son out of three sons. "
"My childhood taught me to dream big and work hard to achieve those dreams. I have always had faith in my vision since I've been little and I've been chasing my goals with all the zeal in my soul."
Law and Music
"I'm currently studying Law at the University of Lagos."
"Balancing law and music is by God's grace TBH. I just try to manage my time so they don't clash and if they do, then I'd have to make sacrifices and prioritize at that moment, what I'm to be doing. Whether hitting the studio or lectures."
"Balancing Law and Music is tougher than it sounds. Remembering the reason why I chose to study law (which was actually a choice based solely on passion), I understand that as long as I stay passionate, work hard and have faith in God I can achieve even the impossible."
"Flex is all about living life however you want to. You only live once, so, enjoy life as much as you can now as you're alive. It's about forgetting your worries and seizing every moment."
The purpose of the song
"It's meant to inspire people to appreciate life and enjoy every moment of it. Flex sends the message that you only live once so live life to the fullest while you can."
Kaylu confirmed upcoming visuals for the song. In his own words, "Yeah I plan on shooting the visuals soon. It's a jam that definitely deserves a video".
Once you have listened to his music it becomes pointless to argue with talent. His artistry is quite impressive too. "I'm a hip hop artist, as a lyricist, I can jump on any vibe. It all depends on my mood." Like I said...can't argue with talent.
To become a member of the Flex terrain go to iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and Audiomack. It is safe to say that Kaylu deserves support at all costs. Let's watch our homeboy grow into stardom and grace.

Article By: Simon Mothapo
Pamela is a Hip Hop song by Hunnaband Chris (20), a Mexican-American artist who lives at the United States. The song has gained massive play on social media, amassing over 17k plays on SoundCloud. Before tackling the main question, "who is Pamela?" let's first get to know who Hunnaband Chris is.
ABOUT HUNNABAND CHRIS
"I grew up in the South Bay region of Los Angeles California. I moved to Phoenix, Arizona when I was a kid"
Passion for music
"I always loved music as a young kid and I started rapping at the age of 11, free styling almost every day whenever I got the chance. On the way to school, on the bus...I would actually write raps in class instead of taking notes. All the time. My passion for music especially hip hop grew"
His unique music style
"If you check my music out, my style is unique throughout my songs. The reason being I grew up listening to all sorts of genres of music. Music is another language for me. I started writing songs at a very young age and got the hang of song structure and flow. I believe I have a new style that is unique and stands out in hip hop and music in general. 'Hand me any beat and I will make it a hit!'".
"I always wanted to record and pursue my music but never knew how to fully start. In my teen years I had some heavy major life shifts that affected my growth. I went through a lot of struggles. It was until when I turned 19 that I realized I was going to make music and chased this passion of mine 100%."
"Right now I'm working a serving job along with other side hustles while trying to generate money for my music and be consistent with music. It's a ton of work but worth it. I'm a huge believer in chasing your goals. We only have one shot at life and I don't want to regret not taking any risks".
Who is Pamela?
"That's something I just want to leave the listeners to wonder...or if they can relate to Pamela or know someone like her then enjoy the song...obviously Pamela is a girl".
Well, from the song it is clear that Pamela is 'bad', 'lit' and you better 'not look into her eyes'.
"..the song had to be a story with a strong flow, hook, verse etc. It had to be catchy too. Something people can dance too".
Another song worth checking out (so is every other song because they are hits) is ‘Double Cup Down The Free Way’. In his own words, "that one is a whole story bro, I was driving 30 min to my homie’s apartment to record that. Double Cup is one of my favorites".
ABOUT HIS MUSIC
Music and money
Chris confirmed that he makes money from music. When asked to divulge excact figures this was his response: "nah not at the moment TBH...maybe once I get bigger haha"
"Yes, I'm working on getting all my music on all streaming platforms very soon. A few weeks max. Along with music videos."
Famous artist he would like to work with
"I'd like to work with Future, Travis Scott and Drake. There's a lot of artist I'd like to work with. These artist would be crazy to work with".
"My biggest sacrifice has to be my mental health. This is a lot of work and I've been putting in a lot of work forgetting I need to balance myself. That's something I'm trying to work on. It's hard when I have a vision in my head and that's all I run towards...but enjoying myself without making music once in a while is important."
"I want my music to touch people. I want my music to entertain people and distract them from this world for a few minutes. I want them to realize anything is possible. Everything was impossible until someone made it possible. To chase their dreams and put in the work. I want them to feel my energy and my passion. To not listen to anyone but themselves."
If anything, Hunnaband Chris' career is on an upward trend. There is no use in trying to deny his impeccable rap skills, flow and an ear for catchy songs. He leaves us with no choice but to support him at all costs. Go to SoundCloud and YouTube and play his tunes. May you also do the same when he embarks on all major platforms.
Thank you so much y’all for spending time with us! <3

Reddvisionbeats is an American singer/rapper, songwriter, producer and sound engineer. Here I did an interview with him about his song Froze Energy with Kamal. A song that reflects on betrayal, survival, friendship, and loyalty.
Q: What is Froze energy?
A: Froze energy is a look into me and Kamal's lives up until that point and things that we've been through. This song, in particular, is about me feeling like the growth that I was making was opening my eyes to more things and changing my perspective. I have a line "man I'm so used to our lives ending, pressing record on a live image." I felt that the lives of many black men in my position somewhat and even those on a different path than me, were dying regularly. I almost became to numb to it you know? Having to accept the fact that my fate may be sealed without me knowing. I've lost a friend to gun violence before so it naturally made me want to tune it all out, the senseless killings of so many, but I couldn't so I had to say something, hopefully, one day we can help to change and put an end to it. This song is also about the energy I felt people would give us. some genuine and others cold, or not wanting to give us a chance. I've had people I thought I was close with totally turn on me so I'm familiar with the feeling...as if someone's once positive energy is turning cold.
Q: Where did you shoot the music video?
A: It was shot at the Santa Monica pier and downtown Hollywood BLVD in California.
Froze Energy music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgKAR7R12B4
It comes intuitively that we should know how our homeboy got to this point in his life.
Q: How would you describe your childhood?
A: I was born in Virginia lived there for 10 years. Moved to Japan in 2005, left in 2009 to California. After graduating from high school in California I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2013, and I've been back and forth between Georgia and California ever since. My childhood, if I could describe it, was inspirational and challenging at times. Inspirational because I was lucky enough to have such a diverse upbringing. Meeting people from all walks of life and being immersed in different cultures. That really helped shape my perspective on things.
Q: Besides music is there any other work that you are doing?
A: Over the last year I've been involved in a few fashion shows thanks to my friend Shun. Thanks to Shun, I was able to actually headline one a few months back called "Street Roots" set up by the amazing team, 'Queen Cartel'.
Q: Did you headline the show as a model or as a singer/rapper?
A: Both! My friend Shun designed an outfit for me to wear as it was part of his collection he was showing off as well.
Q: Cool stuff! So what lead you into music?
A: Thank you! When I moved to Japan and was registering for classes, I had one more slot open for a class and my counselor decided it would be a good idea for me to be in a concert band. So I learned how to read music and play the trumpet then over time realized I had an affinity or natural liking to how music was being created; which lead me wanting to know more about the technical aspects, the science behind it and how to produce music as a whole.
Q: So that is why you studied sound engineering?
A: Yes it was definitely a major factor.
Q: What are your future plans for music?
A: To just keep producing and constructing sounds, learn, and have fun.
Q: Do you have a nickname?
A: I do, Redd is a nickname my friends in California gave me when I moved here so it's usually what I go by!
For a man who has been through some of the most challenging life experiences and still keeps his cool...I see something beyond a 24-carat future.
Redd deserves to be supported at all costs! Listen to his music on iTunes, tidal, Spotify, etc! Follow him on social media!

Love is beautiful is a song by a Hip-Hop artist Sekzin. It draws inspiration from the bitter-sweet realities of life to unapologetically give a sharp narrative as a prequel and sequel to a break-up. An ordeal so intense that left Sekzin rapping 'you got me doubting everything we had, maybe you played me from beginning to the end'. A nice rhyme by the way. Back to the song, you must be wondering, how was our homeboy (mentally, physically, spiritually, etc.) after the break-up? Well, all is served here raw, an audio of the song from YouTube at your service.
Make sure you also follow Sekzin on twitter and Instagram right after hitting the subscribe button on his YouTube channel. His music is also available on Slikouronlife. A new single featuring an artists who goes by the stage name of No Ghost from KZN (KwaZulu-Natal Province) is about to drop at anytime. A song that he promises to be all what fire is made of.
Hip Hop music has been his favorite genre from an early age. He cites Cassper Nyovest as one of his biggest inspirations. In his own words "I would say Cassper Nyovest, is one of my biggest inspirations, I relate a lot to his music, he is my role model, big Sean, and Drake..". During our interview, he also made an interesting remark " recently I've been listening to a lot of Phora’s music he inspires me because he is not afraid to open up ...which is one of the things that we men struggle with". A fact!
Although we never met in person. I could tell Sekzin is easy-going yet focused and wise. He has a 9 to 5 job at a local municipality in the sports department. In his own words, "that's how I hustle in order to afford studio time". Big up!
Our homeboy grew up as one of the triplets amongst six siblings. "What I liked about my childhood is that I was taught respect at an early age, I don't have to know you to respect you". Take note of this. He recalls a bit of a financial struggle while growing up. "So as you can imagine, there are certain things we didn't have while growing up as children because of affordability... we changed schools a lot...”. He recalls not having proper shoes and pants. "Which made me very uncomfortable because I would get teased or people would feel sorry for me... it also affected my school work but I still managed to pass then changed to another school again". He started his schooling at the Eastern Cape at a school called Ugie Primary and High school. He was eight years old at the time. His family later moved to Randfontein, Gauteng Province for better employment. A place where he grew up and still lives at. He completed his high school studies at Randfontein High School and finally went to Westcol Krugersdorp Campus to further his studies.
He currently writes and records his music. He plans to expand his repertoire by venturing into producing and making videos and films. An empire in the works.
Let us all support this man at all costs. I repeat, make sure you follow him on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and slikouronlife.
Love may not be perfect for Sekzin however, living your passion with people who you love and appreciate, life is definitely beautiful for Mr Sekzin.

Ajay Marshall (24) describes his music as a unique Trap Soul. A genre he creates with influences from RnB, Hip Hop, and various genres. Not the type of hunger that feeds on aspirations and dreams but one that enhances and empowers.
