Rauschenberg Residency 381

Scholar Residency

The Scholar Residency supports graduate students across the country who are nearing completion of their dissertations on post-war art. By providing up to five weeks of dedicated time to write, the residency helps support scholarship that reflects the Foundation鈥檚 own aspiration to provide alternatives to the canonical and to celebrate new and even untested ways of thinking and acting.

In 2023-2024, the Foundation's NYC location was made available as an alternative to individuals that were selected and invited to participate in the 2022-2023 Scholar Residency in Captiva, and who would be completing their dissertations before the residency reopened.
